Did you watch the game vs TRACE? That Bind map was a competition to see who could throw less. DRG look alright with good mechanics and could pull a BLG in theory, but honestly i would be looking at FPX or EDG for the time being if you want to see a strong placement from a chinese team.

I mean BLG were clearly the second best cn team and looked somewhat close to EDG around champs
DRG look alright but extremely inconsistent, and only do much when luke is firing but he's a cointoss every game
I'm down for an upset but I have far less faith than I did for BLG

blg had everyone playing their best performance

drg has vookashu which is insane tvirus which is pretty good nicc which is above average and im not trying to be disrespectful but i dont remember the names of the other 2, but despite of that i think they are better than what people gives them credit for

shion has been really good recently and tzh is a decent player as well
feels like shion and nicc are both coming in with really good form so they might make something happen

"The DRG disrespect is crazy" most people on vlr and reddit don't even watch CN bro. Their opinion is irrelevant. But the fact is, DRG has players with excellent mechanics but the communication is a serious problem. vookashu has said in interviews that Luke has to translate the comms in English for him. Also, DRG are a pretty inconsistent team. Sometimes they look excellent other times they throw like crazy.
