madrid gen g would defiantly beat any 2022 team what makes you think otherwise?
Their first match against EDG and last match against SEN on Icebox I did not like. Those two games showed a lapse in their teamwork. One almost cost them the series, and one cost them the title. They are an inexperienced team that played way more methodically than expected but still cracked down. I would argue they also rely on firepower a lot, as seen on Breeze with Karon clutching 1v3s out of his ass. If we give 2022 teams the 2022 sandbox and geng the current sandbox, Optic and Loud win as they are more experienced with better chemistry. Their series against EDG, if anything, showed that against a team that was willing to just fight, they had to resort to hero plays (Map 2 Split). I would say this: I don't think the difference is nearly as big as others think. I honestly think the 2024 teams win pretty handily.
Sen grand final icebox game they played well up until the 2nd pistol once they realized they could lose the series they started to feel the pressure and broke down. edg icebox was just a slow start if they dont get bonused they win the map and they were clearly the better team on the other maps in those respective series. better chemistry is you talking out of your ass bru you arent in the team. and go watch a series from optic in 2022 and a gen g series from 2024 and tell me they are playing at the same level. also an example where optic played really bad in the exact same circumstances breeze champs 2022 grand final and your acting like the best teams all dont have players who pull clutches and multikills out of their ass.
I'm basing off chemistry mostly through trades and group reactions. I thought OPTIC looked slightly better on that end, but I haven't seen them in a while. If they can feel pressure and break down, that's a reason why they aren't the fourth-best team ever. Also, you never addressed 2024 prx or 2024 lev compared to Madrid geng.
