I just watched some highlights of optic yay.The reason he is not performing is because he is not a primary duelist who creates space.He always like to stay and hold angles for kills.He also didnt adapt agents who can allow him the play style he had with chamber.The second reason i think he is an emotional personal and his personal life problems might be affecting him.I hope he makes comback like tenz did in future.

Raze is an aggressive entry duelist, and while Jett CAN be played in that style, she can also be played as a "take 1st fight with op and fall back and play op angles" as well. Yay on OPTIC only played Jett and Chamber and did the aforementioned playstyle, while on BLEED he has to play an aggressive entry duelist Raze and Jett, which is a completely different playstyle. It isn't about what his team knows, and they're definitely not stupid, but it's what they need. They signed yay expecting him to be able to adapt to the aggressive entry duelist playstyle, and he just hasn't. They then tried playing yay as different roles and let someone else be the aggressive entry duelist, and that also didn't work. So now they're just stuck. shubham932002's analysis is on the nose.

Calling someone that he abused pre Nerf chamber is dumb. Why are we pretending like he was the only player to have access to Chamber? Like anybody could use that agent no? Why didn't everybody else had the same impact as him or carried their teams to THREE GFs huh?
Kinda hypocritical. Considering not every player doesn't make as good as they were previous season... 2022 TenZ, Sheydos after Gambit, Post 2021 Asuna.... Istg if SEN had dropped TenZ when he wasn't hitting he'd be seen same as yay.

Anyways hating on yay has become a stupid trend which 14yos like to abuse. Not that people with triple digit IQ care.

I think this just proves that he is a one trick chamber though. If you can’t entry on entry agents, you have to adapt. He has proven that he cannot do that. As such, we will never have the same yay that was on optic. Most teams won’t be willing to have a duelist that doesn’t entry. I only see a comeback for him if chamber gets buffed.

yeah he's not an entrying agent, eg raze, but the fact hes only "good" on jett, a simple op agent with a second duelist (usually) with how optic were playing it. and then when chamber was broken.

No. It literally is because he's a chamber one-trick.
With Jett and Chamber being broken (the latter is more broken), the meta usually revolves around both of those agents. So in that regard, Yay shines the most. Now that they are nerfed and there are no more broken agents, that meta just doesn't work anymore.
