most people that dont like the format has their favorite team in berlin who arent acend sen and vs, since they know their team have little to no chance of making it in the semis

I guess that's where the disadvantage of having Riot organise the tournament vs third-party doing it appears. Riot can keep offering shitty tournament bracket sand get away with it, because they don't have compete with other TOs.

We need seeding transparency, to make it clear it is good or bad.
If seeding not used and random placement with no same region each group. Then it is worst format.
Terrible format. At least make every match in the 4 team playoff a bo5 if they're not doing double elim there.

I guess that’s an alternative but it would still be single elim I like how this format only but confirms the best teams will qual from each group

yeah but in most groups, the upper finals and grand finals would be b/w same teams, if we could have skipped the grand finals, we could have had more different matchups.
