maybe kick kryptix and pick nbk as an igl? i think its gonna happen
Quite a risk picking up a 27 year old tbh, even if he is a CS legend. Plus, it could well be the same situation as with CS:GO's ex-C9 Alex, he never really picked valorant up, because he probably wasn't good enough at it. The same thing could also be applicable to Nivera. No one really knows what kind of tier these particular players would end up belonging at

shahz is also 27
redlotus [#5]shahz is also 27
oh wow, I thought shahz was younger.
The reason why I was being ageist is that kolda is another 27 year old in the scene and honestly I sometimes see him losing aim duels purely due to degradation in his reaction time.
But shahz being 27 years old, damn... that's even more impressive. The guy is a talented IGL, coach and honestly holds his own weight down pretty well as freaking OP'er to make SEN the best team. what the hell

shahz has been in competitive cs since like 2012 or some shit. Don't know why you're surprised

wth are you saying? thats so bs.

Because I haven't been keeping track of him or CS NA scene for that matter. I thought he was something along the lines of 23/24, but not 27, even if he played competitive CS since 2k12
Glycoroldas [#11]?
you said nbk to old with 27. experience is the key to win in esport and with nbk you have a lot of experience and you can expect from him no risky/bad plays. age doesn't matter in esport when you have the right mindset.

That's a fair point, I agree. I could also argue that the mindset drastically changes for people who approach their 30s, but for people like NBK that probably will not matter, especially when an already good example of this exists with shahzi.
So I'll just take the L here

Glycoroldas,
What are you talking about? Just look at the CS GO scene, one of the most consistent players of all time is f0rest. And even now, he's performing at top level, and how old is he? Can you guess? Even NEO (from cs 1.6), who doesn't live up to his name anymore in the CS GO scene (even tho, he was one of the best players in the beginning of CS GO), but even now, he can easily outaim and outsmart the actual Valorant pros.
Regarding age and players, yes, age is a factor, but individual skill is another thing.

also he played Sentinels only in his Streams so if he wants to go Pro in Val he would be playing Agents like Cypher, Viper and KJ.

yeah, I just had a bad take, guilty as charged.
