i will die on the hill that california is the prettiest state in terms of natural wonder. Some states come close but Cali has quality AND quantity, man
our smaller towns/cities are usually quite nice as well esp compared to larger cities
ALSO we have great food, SO many places that are like (country) food are legit and not americanized since there are so many people from all around the world. i live in a town with 10k people in it and i can literally walk to an authentic japanese immigrant founded sushi and ramen place in like 5 minutes and grab a big ass bowl of legit spicy tonkotsu ramen for six bucks
i truly plea that you ignore SF/LA shitters when you think about california man, i know I do, and i live here
One last thing: FUCK that miserable fucking city bakersfield if you hate any city in the world, hate bakersfield

yep fair in the end i guess it is personal pref as to THE best but as long as ya consider it some of the best lol
and ik you can find non-americanized places all around, my point was moreso that there's just a LOT of them, and a lot of variety in them, which is real nice.
