Would you consider their year a success if they win shanghai but bomb out of champs?
geometrix [#2]An event win any year is a success no??? wtf?
kickoff, split, international, those are all Ws
They spent the most money on 2 world champions along side 2 assistant coaches, their team is literally built to win. The team def cost more than fnatic

thats true, expectations are higher for them, but they would 100% consider shanghai win + bomb out champs a win
ok guys hear me out am not glazing them but anything lower than wining champs and shanghai for NRG will be a disappointment their roaster is filthy good and paired with big guns if chet is able to activate demon1 on other roles than jett and they got comfy on their roles I really believe NRG will find easy time smashing teams like FNC/LOUD/SEN am a big SEN fan I swear but am talking facts here we cant act like idiots and doesn't see what's coming
this team lineup is Hella scary imo but but but, SEN demolished their hopes in going to madrid and hit the optic core so hard because its the first lan that core miss and its because of my glorious goats in SEN, finally I hope for a good competition in the league we dont want to end up like last year 2 teams or 3 is dominating the region also I can see 100t and LEV taking a win from either SEN/LOUD/NRG this season is stacked af and am so hyped.
Their rosters are stacked but they don't have an experience igl. My personal expectations as an NRG fan is that we can get qualified and hopefully make at least deep run in both tournaments like PRX. (Winning the event is a bonus). I would like Fns coming back to NRG as coach if anything goes south, since I feel like Chet tactics are a bit outdated but I'm willing to give him a chance for this split. America's league is really competitive so even getting qualified is almost as bigger accomplishments as qualified in the playoff for international lan event.

How are chet’s anti tactics outdated?
What? 💀

Him putting demon1 on op too many rounds as he thinks he can trained him to be like next el diablo. The unfortunate truth is demon1 is sole rifle fragger, literally has the best hs percentage at champ and I don't think his oping ability is not nearly as good as other players like Aspas / Zmjkk. I've done the vod review on Sen vs NRG, I noticed that a lot of rounds NRG were saving and couldn't execute retake properly because of demon1 having op. Him also deciding to have demon1 on omen debut on last most important map (when demon1 can easily just play astra or brimstone) which he feels more comfortable on was also kind of silly. Sure you could say it's a hindsight take but that's why I stated his tactics to be outdate / washed.
TheAceGamer30 [#15]they already failed expectations by not winning everything lmao
But aren’t they a bad team on paper?
Why would the expectations be so high for a team that is so terrible on paper?
