I know johnqt since the start and I was watching him even in CSGO , if johnqt didn't leave Morocco for Canada to study there we would've never heard about him
johnqt was frustrated and hopeless just like every MEA player who's struggling to find the chance to compete in a shit Ecosystem, look at Johnqt now IGLing and doing wonders for Sentinels + Insanely consistent , you will ask me why we don't see more players from MEA like johnqt ? basically because why would someone drop his university , school , job etc and play the game while Riot doesn't give a fuck about him and putting zero investments in his region , Riot is blind and you are totally ignoring a 600milion person Region

EMEA Stands for (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and yet we have ZERO teams in the VCT from Middle East and Africa honestly it's sad to see and they will never give the players here a real chance to play with the best , get more experience and make the game their 1st priority to focus on , many players here like johnqt with big potential retired unfortunately because of this denial , if there are some players who will reach VCT from this region it would be ( Avez , Akai , SpYzera , Moh , Shniider ) I just hope they won't quit the game to study or something :D

unluckily I don't think they will give us a chance , really heartbreaking to say but it's the sad reality

I swear if Riot give this region a chance and players here make the game their 1st priority we would go far , like Imagine this guy called Moh is studying in a Medical University +barely plays the game and he dropped 1.2 total K/D in Ascension on controller role against big teams like Apeks while his won only 1 game

We've talked about the MENA leagues several times which I have been following for a while. I do agree that scouts should really go deeper into the MENA scene because I've seen some real talent. Specially after how well rookies are performing this year

Although what MENA really needs is to build an actual superteam and perform well in Ascension in order for other people to start judging them accordingly

Mortadelo with based takes as usual , so far Akai , Spy , Moh , avez are really impressive for avez I think he will play in franchise next year I hope getting the VISA will be smooth for him this time

Avez is playing at an amazing level rn and his teammates are really good. The average level of MENA teams this year is much higher

If Avez keeps it up and his team performs well he is very likely to get a shot at tier 1

Akai as a duelist is harder since so many new duelists just joined, let’s see if FLC finally figures it out outside of MENA

20 countries and 400 people yet all we get is 1 slot and high ping for playins when a country like italy for example gets the same amout of chances minus the high ping how is that fair (no hate)

Dude I agree with you what I’m saying is what they need to do is consider the 2 MENA divisions different regions and give each a slot, not 1 to share.

Not much to do about the ping tho, fortunately the actual ascension is LAN

and they give mena (a very big region) only 1 spot for ascension when we have 2 of the better vcls in emea
and we have to compete at high ping and wonder why mena doesn't have a representation
this racism i swear 😡
not a single org in mena or a single player gets a chance

I am pretty confident next season we would see Avez at least in franchised team , I also forgot the ping thing where we have to play with 70 ping if you are in Levant & NA or 120 ping if you are in GCC really unlucky man what can I say

All regions get the same amount of slots in Ascension. Problem is considering Morocco and Saudi Arabia the same region
