I also enjoy Gala, they were my childhood favorites. However, as I have grown up, I have allowed myself to explore different variants of apples.

There are numerous varieties of apples beyond just green and red. Some of the most common varieties include:

Golden Delicious: These are yellowish-green apples with a sweet flavor.
Granny Smith: Known for their bright green color and tart taste.
Fuji: These apples have a red-orange skin with a crisp texture and sweet flavor.
Gala: Gala apples have a distinctive yellow-orange skin with red striping and a sweet, crisp taste.
Honeycrisp: Recognizable for their mottled red and yellow skin and exceptionally crisp texture with a balanced sweet-tart flavor.
Pink Lady (Cripps Pink): These apples have a pinkish-red skin and a sweet-tart taste.
Braeburn: A crisp apple with a red-orange skin and a balanced sweet-tart flavor.
Jonagold: A cross between Golden Delicious and Jonathan apples, Jonagolds have a yellow-green skin with red striping and a sweet-tart flavor.
Cortland: These apples have a bright red skin and a slightly tart flavor.
Empire: Empire apples have a deep red skin and a sweet-tart taste.
These are just a few examples, and there are many more varieties of apples, each with its own unique flavor, texture, and appearance
