Accept that this roster should have been blown up and built around boostio. Meanwhile m80 smurfing against nrg in scrims ... smh

whats up with all the cryo hate? he played well vs LEV and isn't the issue this half
Wiggs [#7]whats up with all the cryo hate? he played well vs LEV and isn't the issue this half
I think its due to the insane level he was playing at, at the peak of chamber and now he has pretty decent performances but not amazing ones often.

He's a passive duelist player. He loves to hold angles , but look at the duelists in this new Era. They all have insane mechanics and play aggressive. You can't play the way he does and get away with it anymore.

If we are just comparing to his peak, I agree but he hasn't been the issue for 100T.

Not at all, but I think that thats the reason for people hating on him. Like in their minds the passive chamber that cryo used to pop off on should translate to this hyper agressive duelist meta. But thats just not true, hes good, but his playstyle isnt suited for the insane peaks he had in chamber.

This is fair but I think he has a good feel for the game as a lurker and could be super useful as a senti/smoker. His lurks on Astra yesterday looked good.

he's not good enough as duelist, he should become sentinel or something. rn he's as bad as fatdiis was for NRG

I mean. His playstyle is better as flex or nonduelist but it's way too late to make the switch unless he fully commits.
kfan4238173 [#2]i think it took them too long to sign boostio to let him have an impact on the roster
im sure theyll make some midseason changes with boostios input
they already said they r not gonna drop anyone all year no matter what. They giving the players and roster time and trust for the year

are they stupid

Perhaps he's just a normal player but people overrate him a lot

Makes sense. He also has nowhere close to the support on duelist/chamber that he had on XSET which I think is brushed over a lot. Since he has joined 100T it has felt like they are just hoping he hits shots and they win.
kfan4238173 [#16]are they stupid
no, team will be goated with time. Only have had a month of practice. Just wait

No ur actually right. They have some big changes to do but this roster can work. Cryo more lurking Assuna better entrying
The lack of prep is certainly an issue for this team, mid-season should look a lot better. The roster on paper seems middling but given how their matches have gone so far, the seem to have the firepower to compete. The comps they have run are a bit interesting, but they seemed have some ideas they are testing out. Cyro being off entry I think is a good change. With chamber buffs incoming it'll be interesting to see if they incorporate him into their comps, as currently they haven't run the Cypher or KJ. Strategically they look unorthodox really just getting aggressive in a lot of situations. I was confused when they used the same A hit several times on split vs SEN. I wasn't disappointed as I was pulling for SEN to win as they just showed a lot really cool ideas throughout the whole series. Overall, I think 100T fans should be reluctant on setting any expectations. If this season goes south fast, I wouldn't be surprised to see Boostio bringing in a new core for next year.

wasnt boostio scrimming on an alt before being released by eg

they've had 2 months.
Elso [#23]they've had 2 months.
6 weeks, so we both right ig. Either way not a lot of time. A lot of the best teams in CS and VAL have taken 3-5 months to get into their groove.
