Ethan: 9,5/10, almost perfect but idk the calls
Demon1: 7,5/10, not his best ofc
Marved: 7/10, he needs to get used to being on a real team again, not like past year
Victor: 8/10, amazing Cypher
Crashies: 6,9/10, a little whiffy but it's ok, i think he needs to improve in the util, compared to other great sovas like Leo, c0m, etc. lags a little behind, but no problem
General team: 8,2/10, they lost quite a few unnecessary rounds but yeah insane aim, we need to see them vs good teams

You can tell from the way they played that they were just warming up and already looking strong. Imagine if they take it seriously bro no one is ready

They looked pretty good! Their defense side was much better than their attack but that's probably more because of Ethan being a new caller since calling on attack is harder. Ethan's gameplay was absolutely superb, definitely a top 3 initiator in the world still. Victor's proving the haters wrong and has shown that NRG's roles should not be a problem. Marved had his iceman moments, wasn't necessarily the biggest fragger but he had his clutch moments. Crashies did fine, nothing special really. Demon1 I would say actually had a below average performance for him, which is still really good but I think he can do better. Chet also clearly cooked up some very interesting strats, especially on Breeze (he is not a snake). They didn't look like the best team in the world, but it's their first game and they haven't had as much practice as some other teams. The score line honestly doesn't do NRG justice, they looked like the better team the entire game.

crashies was not whiffy at all

Only round 5 on that flank

Other than that he was hitting all of his shots

Marved didn't play up to his level but I saw flashes of greatness

He will be back

Nah second seed is a little over hype. They looked like a middle of the pack team honestly. Demon1 looked like any other middle of the pack star player, victor actually is doing well on sentinel for once in his life, crashies seems like he's still consistent, marved looks ok, Ethan looks better than last year
Their calling was ok, the reads weren't anything crazy as expected, the strats on attack seemed pretty good though. I think their best attribute is their little combo plays but that's not something that'll get them top 2.

I think their defense was made so much easier by the predictability of furias attack. I was more impressed at how well Ethan did calling on the attack as a new IGL. Furia also looked like they could really shine individually on defense.
Nrg look like they had glimpses of greatness but other rounds were very mid or just flat out bad. Tbf optic often looked like that too so who knows where this teamll go?

I do agree! I think it was less NRG being the bad on attack and more Furia being the inverse of what I said about NRG. Definitely too early to tell how good NRG will be, all we really know is that they are good enough to beat Furia, which is at least a little reassuring.
