Why are people so high in tex?

I swear people used to think he wasn’t that good

When scrims were leaked during the offseason of tex playing with NRG, people said NRG would be doomed and that tex wasn’t a good player

And leaf was considered an “upgrade” over tex

All of a sudden he joins LEV and is switching roles and people consider him superteam caliber

He got booted from G2 for a reason

Make it make sense

Fact is that LEV are very overrated on paper

TBH I don't know where the Tex hate came from. Tex was the reason Guard won ascension (just look at all the stats), and I was really surprised when Tex was kicked. He isn't proven at the Tier 1 level yet, but he should do fine.

People thought he was the least crucial part bc they assumed G2 could slot in another cracked duelist player since the market for cracked duelists is oversaturated. Realistically, I think it was extremely dumb to kick out a guy who really stepped up during Ascension and had over a year of chemistry with the team.

I haven't seen that much hype on him. I think the idea is that he is a solid player who can support the rest of the team. He performed well in superdome, so people are using that as a data point I guess.

True. Leviatan and NRG are both overrated. In fact, the only good team in franchising is Talon. Hopefully TSM ascend this year, could be the birth of an amazing rivalry (Talon vs TSM, obviously grand finals at every major.)
