For people who watch Indian valorant, do you guys think that top teams like Velocity and Global stands a chance in the Asia last chance qualifier against SEA, KR, JP, and most likely China
No not at all man....we play pro games like ranked games...
OVERPEEKING a hell lot
Successful RETAKES barely happen
Agent Comps are kinda bad...
GE and VLT are the only good teams and cuz of that these teams cant improve playing against other good teams...
When they face someone as good as them they will jus have no counter to it....if u get what im saying
GE and VLT can probably take on most of the South East Asian teams , not the top ones like X10 and stuff but most teams they can either defeat or give a good fight. For Japanese teams I would say we could defeat some of the lower tier ones but anyone close to Tier 1 would destroy us, and we don't come close to Korean teams
But then , these are speculations. We could be 13-0'ed by Tier 3 SEA teams or be able to defeat Tier 1 Korean teams. You never know until they compete. z
I would say for us APAC LCQ is more about the experience than winning it , all of us know we probably have very little to no chance of winning , especially because of Korean teams
You guys definitely have a good chance. Don’t get discouraged if India isn’t a powerhouse right away, because your region is growing and the old saying success doesn’t come overnight. But India is definitely one of the regions I could see being strong in the coming years, same with Japan as they have a loyal and sizeable player base as well.
I would recommend hyping them up, but doing it within reason. Understand that they most likely aren’t gonna come to VCT next year and be able to beat the best teams in the world. It’s just not gonna happen that quickly. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hype the players that are doing well currently in the region and helping the region grow. Sadly assholes will always try and ruin someone’s fun. If someone wants to spend time trying to put down a growing region, they really serve no purpose and do your best to ignore them.
In Masters 2 we got an understanding of how different regions play the game. Since India and mostly SA was not part of it it would be difficult to judge how these teams would match up with teams from KR, JP and SEA. All we can do is wait and hope that some Indian team gets to the APAC LCQ. Never undermine how India could do against these regions. Do not over expect their achievements too. It is better that we continue to support them and hope that they do well. Only when they meet can we really draw conclusions of how they will perform.
