So playoffs are single elim and group a #1 will fight group b #1, group c #1 will fight play-in winner(basically #2 in any group), only finalists participate in madrid
According to recent article eg will be in group c with g2

What that means is most likely one of best americas wont qualify to madrid.
If seeding is the same as shown in picture it means that nrg and loud and maybe lev will be in group a and sen will be in group b.
But if better teams will seed with worse teams then nrg and loud will be in different groups and 1 of these teams wont qualify if they dont get beaten by lev/sen

Edit: I misread and it turns out group c will fight group a/b

Its really messed up cause group C will prob be G2, EG, MIBR. The obv winner should be G2 so that means they just get a free path to playoffs.

group a #1 will fight group b #1, group c #1 will fight play-in winner

We dont know which #1 from each group will play each other. It depends on which group the play-in winner comes from. For example, lets say group A #2 was the play-in winner, then playoffs could be #1 A vs #1C, #1B vs play-in.

Playoffs is Group B winner against Group C winner and Group A winner against playins winner

you can see that in the picture

If you read the description on the official post it says that whatever group the play-in winner comes will NOT play the #1 seed from their group. So the matches depend on who wins play-in stage

i misread thinking that group a and b will fight
it might fuck up other regions instead cause prx and fnatic might fight 2nd best teams in their regions
