They litearlly cannot stay under the name Shopify and Play vs Shopify x Moist, theres probably a loop hole in the contract that says the team is owned by moist and that would allow it, or if they make challengers then it will just be moist again. but i promise if they qualify for challengers and stay under shopify, then Shopify x Moist wont be a thing anymore. You're getting confused. They can play in challengers qualifiers and attempt to get into challengers while playing for shopify but that's as far as it goes. No one asked the shopify players about actually playing in the challengers league itself alongside MxS. But asking that question is unnecessary since it's obvious. Riot would never allow that conflict of interest to go unresolved in a league that they're associated with. Stop spreading misinformation.
Also, you're reading too much into that tweet from flor. She plans to try to get into challengers with the current SR squad. Doesn't mean that they're actually gonna be able to stay under that banner if they do qualify.
No. Any team is allowed to have two teams in the same region if one is GC. But that doesn't mean that they can actually play in the same league if they both qualified to challengers. People were asking shopify players if they could compete in challenger qualifiers a few weeks ago. The answer is yes to that. But if they actually qualify, there is no way they can continue under SR. Either they or MxS will have to leave shopify.
