Valorant >>>>>>>>>> CSG OMEGALUL proof
Advertising channels really.... At this point in time, for Riot, it doesn't matter who co-streams as long as the game gets out to the masses. However, there is only one but.... The higher a twitch streamer's impact over his or her viewers, the better for public acceptance, because that streamer(Shroud etc) is more likely to have a deeper influence on his or her viewers than official channels(mark101). Meaning, we're in the process of selling the product to potential customers, and the greater their loyalty to that streamer, the greater the effect, especially if the streamer enjoys the game. Therefore, we can see that spreading streams over different popular streamers has an actual meaning. And I assure you that Riot are taking this steps in a much more professional manner than Valve with CS as Valve's child had a way messed up(still is) history growing up.
You can't put a year old game like Valorant into category with games such LOL, Dota 2, CS or even Fortnite because the metric is not yet fully suitable for it. Remember it's an index, right? The metric include tournamnets and winning pool KPIs, besides Twitch views for the first quarter. CS wins ez over Valorant in this kpis because it's a developed game with it's own stable pro league and tournaments. Valorant is not there yet ffs... for valo the best kpis are Twitch viewership only atm! It acts as a public interest kpi, giving green light to corps such as Zowie, Razer and many many more to start puring $$$ into it. Given small tournaments and officials, Valorant still has a tiny total price pool history and way smaller than cs tournamnets numbers as market is not there yet - new game. As I said, twitch viewership and rest kpis associated with twitch are the most important kpis to watch at this stage, in order to judge its popularity and acceptance amongst the public.
Here's about the KPIs in the index... please take into account that the Distributed Esports Winnings and tournaments play very important part in the metric:

Thanks and I'm glad you think so.
But going further, I'd say that the article is not reliable in anyway towards Valorant. A typical PwC industry(even q1) analysis would include a good 100+ pages in it.... Meaning, a lot of data is simply absent from esportsobserver report, let alone sources. Riot doesn't share total players data per month or any, hence establishing GROWTH is impossible. And that's a very important indicator in such reports. Probably Riot share a lot of numbers in their reports behind the closed doors with potential sponsors and share holders but we have yet to see such annual report of their Valorant project. NGL I'd like to see that report too.
