I heard some insane takes like people saying "Sentinels is dropping their GOAT, Pancada, a world class smoke player" like what ? Bro have u watched non of the sentinels game in 2023 ? He is a feast or famine player, he either frags out of control or does absolutely nothing. Not saying he's bad but people need to stop acting like pancada is the world best smoker I mean look at Cned, how come nobody cry "OMG Navi is dropping Cned a world class player coz he won champs in 2021" I dont understand the logic here

So if zellsis doesn't perform now will you accept me saying - "zellsis is a duelist/initiator/sentinel player, he doesn't play smokes"? Does role issue was the only problem for his success in sen?
you all just don't get how much Comms matters. I am a huge fan of pancada the goat. but his English is really poor, just watch his stream, I can't fathom what he is saying. It will be more difficult to understand during matches. I didn't find any "Uncensored" comms video of sen where pancada actively suggesting something. Only when he and sacy are in 2vX situation he comms a lot but they don't speak English then. Just want pancada in Brazilian roaster dude. he will be active again.
but his role is not the only problem at hand; comms are what matters most in these teams and pancada's english is really, really poor. You can be an amazing player, but if you cant understand what others are saying or you cant suggest anything yourself then the match gets kind of complicated. Sacy doesn't have this problem because hes really fluent in english, so his comms are nearly perfect and he doesnt struggle to coordinate with his teammates. This doesnt mean pancada cant coordinate, it just means that he cant do it as efficiently as the others which is probably why they picked Zellsis over him (IF they did). Zellsis may not be the best, but he compensates with good comms and keeping up the morale
What I am trying to say is that we never got to see Pancada on smokes on sentinel. Let's say Zellsis is good but you have to give Pancada a chance, he had to play KJ which he said he hated in the sentinels video where they do Q and A. If he gets benched we will never be able to see him on sentinels playing smokes which he is good at if you see his last match.
yeah I understand the sentiment. Personally me too wanted pancada to succeed in sentinel jersey. but they f up 2023 season. And vct season are so long and competitive you don't have much time to invest on experimenting starting roaster. I respect how they decided to make a solid 5 out of 6 and continued to practice with it. If they keep on shuffling roaster like 2023 it will be another year in shambles.
IF pancada is to be replaced by Zellsis, I think it kinda makes sense to me seeing as how hes a really flexible player and, like a lot of other people have pointed out, he has a chemistry with everyone and keeps the team's morality up so it kinda feels like a team needs someone like him
I also dont know if pancada's language barrier is too much of a problem
either way, both players deserve to play because pancada is still a goated player
People like pancada cause he’s “cool” and Brazilians like him because he’s Brazilian.
It’s crazy because countless times players have had bad years or even a bad month or two and everyone is “out for blood” lining the streets with pitchforks talking about how the player is “washed!!!!!”
Pancada plays poorly for an entire year and gets replaced by a veteran who has all the intangible things that pancada lacks and people come out in droves acting like benching an underperforming player is blasphemy.
Reminds me of all the seoldam defenders. Dude has some ranked clips, and because he was popular people still defend him. He’s one of the worst players I have ever seen.
guys everything is not about skill on a team game. Theres chemistry, team morale, leadership and good vibes. Nothing against pancada, he seems like a very cracked player, but IMO what zellsis brings on table for a team, is much more important than pancada aim. He can elevate morals, he funny so he can make people play more confortable, hes a leader, and a very wise on comms. Having a guy like that can make a team more stable over time. Look saadhak, boostio, boaster. They are better igls than zellsis, but thats not what sentinels needs. They need passionate players that can lead the morale of the team, because they dont lack aim. Zellsis should stay on SEN roster permanently in my opinion, cuz you cant bring that without being inside the server. Pancada should go back LOUD or Furia, for next season, or go back tier 2, cuz rn going MIBR is a waste of time.
