Wait is crossfire cups using agent bans? If that got introduced in normal vct could ruin a lot of one trick's lives

You ban Sova and Jett on Ascent and its a whole different game.
Thats the whole point to be innovative... Who likes the same boring ascent comp...agent bans will make it much more interesting

Think it's good for gimmick tournaments, but would be terrible for the actual competitive circuit

Exactly my thought. For a small "friendly" tournament its a fun gimmick.
Actual VCT would not go great

Think about the players/coaches tho, they would have to prac a lot more team comps, getting rid of just Jett and Sova could change the whole team to be built around a different agent... and thats just 1/7 maps.
The game's would be more interesting but the quality of the games will go down
