Sen suck because of language barrier narrative

This idea that because Sacy and Pancada aren’t native English speakers that they can’t possibly win in a non Brazilian team is nonsensical.

Emea basically only consists of mixed teams. There’s no excuse given to fnatic, navi or liquid for this despite the mix being more varied than just two languages. If you look at fnatic when alfajer joined and he spoke very broken english, they made it work.

It’s actually more likely that Sen as an organisation is cursed with voodoo magic than language barriers as to why they consistently suck ass.

definitely not an individual issue, pancada played well on haven,

have you ever thought to consider that sentinels played a map that they just dont have in their pool

just a coaching issue imo, kaplan is on fraud watch since he joined sen and i've spoken to drewspark and really dont agree with a lot of his ideology but hes just an analyst. They want to be a strat heavy team but sacy and pancada are from a fundamentals based loud team - makes little sense to me

Yeah I feel like a lot of the mistakes on Haven are rather fixable and just came down to inexperience with the team comp and stuff (like using the Viper wall to pressure A early and then not having fuel when they hit B, but also not using a cascade into A link). Although Sacy especially just does not seem comfortable at all on the Skye.

Who knows, I think if they stick with an idea and keep working on it, they can be a solid team. Not like tournament winning, but maybe qualify to champs as 4th seed.

in Europe everyone is already used to other languages, in most countries they live with several people speaking different languages in their daily lives, mainly English. and generally the majority already speak 2 or more languages. in addition to that they are forced to mix nationalities, as they would not be able to put together a decent team with just players from their own country (except Russia) unlike the United States and Brazil. and in Brazil there are few people who actually speak English, because we don't need to learn it. literally no one speaks English on the streets, we don't watch English-speaking streamers/Youtubers, nor do we play with people who speak English, and English teaching in schools is shit. So having to completely switch to English is an infinite times more drastic change than for European players

In regions like france in russia where u can field a native roster they speak their languages too, not like they prefer english

I’n Europe everyone is forced to comm in certain languages. So players are used to thinking of the game in English. Even Asia servers comm the game in English.

Sacy and Pancada started playing in Portuguese they spend most of the their time of the in Brazil on Brazil servers. Not trying to hate but comparing it to EU is a strawman. Most of EU speaks in English and comms the game in English( except the French but they’re weird).
