Nah bro if you get accepted into these universities, the school usually gives financial scholarships based on family income

You don't know anything about these universities lil bro

The -100k is very misleading

https://college.harvard.edu/guides/financial-aid-fact-sheet#:~:text=Our%20aid%20is%20entirely%20need,from%20your%20family%20each%20year.

Based off of family income, the school charges a fair tuition cost

firstly that is only harvard and dont be claiming usa has the best education when u only have an 80% literacy rate which is ranked 35th in the world when there are only 40 developed countries and if you are the richest country how is ur literacy rate that bad lmfao. capitalism at its finest

It is not only Harvard man

MIT, Berkeley, and almost all top universities have similar programs.

Do you want me to cite every single one?

Also, it is a FACT that the USA has the best education

We have the best doctors, scientists, and innovators in the world

There is a reason that there are so many immigrants in our country

Also where are you getting this info about literacy rate; it just doesn't seem right

heres the thing about the us. The rich and very intelligent get very good education and can become great at whatever job but that is only for the top 5% and the rest are homeless, have barely any money or are not getting the right care and support to achieve many things around studying and schooling

Bro I literally live here

It is not like that

Even at my uni there are so many people of different incomes and backgrounds and they are given great opportunities

The US is literally the country where you can become successful no matter your background

I know so many immigrants that started off with nothing, but are now very successful

You don't know anything about the US

The US is known as the land of opportunity for a reason

The research is below
https://nces.ed.gov/pubs2019/2019179/index.asp

about PIAAC is below

Bro, we have so many immigrants from Mexico, China, and other parts of the world that aren't comfortable in English yet.

Obviously, we will have a lower literacy rate than homogenous countries with little to no immigration

only 34% of those 20% who are illiterate are from other countries and 15% of people in the us are from other countries

Must be because there are places with heavy poverty and some really dangerous neighborhoods

Especially in cali
