I see a lot of people address the GE CEO as 'Sir' under his tweets. I have seen that elsewhere as well where indian people just address celebrity type/sometimes not even that people as such. Why do you guys give them so much respect? Or is it cz of the 'caste' system?

I don't think it's about elders. They don't do that for randoms, in fact the indians i have encountered are very aggressive towards ppl who wouldn't agree with them. But if you are wealthy and influential then they will worship you. I don't get it lmao

Its very simple he has done a lot with nothing and genuinely nobody thought we would get into franchising .
Yes it was a disaster but after what he's done it's nice to call him sir and generally many fans call skrossi as "Anna" which means brother
Nothing to do with caste pls don't throw around the world caste without knowing

Not everyone is like that dude. That's personality issues if someone doesn't agree and argues that doesn't define how Indians r

Exactly. If u genuinely believe that it is smtng unique to one culture, u have been living a very sheltered life

Everyone has a different way of addressing people.

Japanese people use sama sometimes, Indians use Sir/Mam. Spanish people use Senor sometimes. It’s just a way of addressing people

Thats cause to call someone sir/mam, you need to get outside your basement and meet people.
