LyCan52 [#2]how often do you see kangaroos
Rarely in Victoria, probably would have to go to the western part of Australia to find them. Might be wrong though
LyCan52 [#2]how often do you see kangaroos
theyre not as common in city type settings like melbourne and sydney, but the kangaroo population outnumbers the human population in australia, and they are a lot more common in the bush and more rural settings
annoybrocc02 [#4]perth or hobart?
the majority of australians would say perth, I'm from tassie, and unless you have family there or are there to see the amazing nature, there is not much to do in hobart/tassie
I've never been to perth as its on the other side of the country, but it is a really good city
Finlad [#3]Rarely in Victoria, probably would have to go to the western part of Australia to find them. Might be wrong though
In Victoria, if u go up north in Mernda occasionally u’ll find Kangaroo hoppin around. If u go great ocean road near Anglesea u’ll see heaps of em, went there for school camp and they’re fukin everywhere m8.
Finlad [#3]Rarely in Victoria, probably would have to go to the western part of Australia to find them. Might be wrong though
as a west australian it's just the outback that has them, not rlly in towns n cities.

hobart also has the incest reputation lmao..,
as a perth resident i say perth, we have nice nature great beaches and the gimmick of isolation.

FDWC- [#7]recommend me good indonesian food
Ayam pop, sate Ayam, sate padang, martabak keju, mie Ayam, indomie
ronaldinhoooooooooooo [#12]What is the biggest spider you’ve seen. And how frequently do you see spiders
This reputation only applies for the country. I kid you not I have not seen a spider in like 3 months, unless you go into sheds or out into the bush you don't find big ones. Probably biggest would be like 4-5cm long legs.
Curious what’s in your guys museums, aside from generic dinosaur bs. I’m more specifically talking about museums that reflect your origin (bc I’m pretty certain Australia first started out as the country where prisoners were sent to) . Does Australia claim this origin? Am I wrong about that origin? I just feel like that’s pretty cool, even though it might be seen negatively. So yea is there anything depicting this like museums, historic land, etc. bc if I’m Australian I’m telling all my foreign friends that my grandfather murdered 500 people… don’t fuck wit me.

they have a bit of stuff but like, the origin of australia was actually not that..,
convicts were sent to australia from britain after it was discovered and claimed to be "terra nullis" e.g noone's land
but before that there was the indigenous australians and torres strait islanders who had been here for 50000 years
people were also sent to aus for little things like petty theft, not just murder

Lol, if only it was just international geography 😭😭
ronaldinhoooooooooooo [#12]What is the biggest spider you’ve seen. And how frequently do you see spiders
Ignoring what the person above me said, in most houses you’ll find daddy long legs and smaller harmless spiders, they’re chill. On occasion you’ll find whitetails, red backs, and some others, they’re the bad ones but they’re rare and found in damp dark conditions

sleeek [#25]what esport title is the most popular there?
Probably CSGO, granted pretty much all of Australias orgs are dead/barely alive.
PrinceCharming [#29]Probably CSGO, granted pretty much all of Australias orgs are dead/barely alive.
oh aus cs is still alive? i saw you guys are pretty good at apex i thought that would be more popular since that game is also playable on 100 ping unlike cs or val
rosso4000 [#26]why do you guys call mcdonalds maccas

bearmans [#22]i heard there are quite a lot indo descendant living in aus.
that true? how often do you see one of them
I can only say for sydney and from my experience but there is a pretty decent amount of indos for sure. If youre part of an indonesian community here, youll pretty much see them very often (Depending how much you interact with the community)
PrinceCharming [#29]Probably CSGO, granted pretty much all of Australias orgs are dead/barely alive.
Tbh most esports in aus is kinda dead, like we never got on the val train, and it peaked with cs and fortnite. + all our big val orgs (order, 95x) just left the scene
FDWC- [#7]recommend me good indonesian food
nasi goreng kerupuk. you scoop the rice with kerupuk. that's a bliss
Zeah [#39]im too lazy to answer all of the question unless some indo could help me answer the whole thing

Maintain your capital first lilbro
BigPPs [#43]Rank these cities Melbourne, Sydney and Perth
Perth is the cheapest I'd say, melbourne and Sydney are both expensive places to live.
PrinceCharming [#29]Probably CSGO, granted pretty much all of Australias orgs are dead/barely alive.
isn't AUS Apex kinda strong? Dark Zero won ALGS before
PrinceCharming [#27]Do you live in Melbourne mate, because you literally can't go a day without seeing a roo out here in rural vic
Yep, I don't go out much outside eof the city unfortunately
solsolid [#51]isn't AUS Apex kinda strong? Dark Zero won ALGS before
Would not touch that game with a ten foot pole. Takes forever to queue and the players are so toxic here
bearmans [#22]i heard there are quite a lot indo descendant living in aus.

Too much. JK. There's a shit ton of Indonesian uni students.
FDWC- [#55]BASED
i havent ate that in years tho
Might not be "indonesian" food but damn does it hit
ronaldinhoooooooooooo [#12]What is the biggest spider you’ve seen. And how frequently do you see spiders
Mostly see long legs as mentioned by the others. Live in the city so might not be a wider perspective
Finlad [#57]Too much. JK. There's a shit ton of Indonesian uni students.
i mean like a permanent resident.
i think i have 4 of my indo friends living in aus since 2010. dunno whats good there.
LyCan52 [#2]how often do you see kangaroos

Finlad [#58]Might not be "indonesian" food but damn does it hit

GreyDaze [#62]Do civilians really encounter the dangerous animals like snakes, spiders in their homes often like they show on the internet or is it just a misconception?
Live in the city rarely see the large ass spiders and dangerous animals. If you live further from the city you'll meet said snakes, spiders, etc.
bearmans [#61]i mean like a permanent resident.
i think i have 4 of my indo friends living in aus since 2010. dunno whats good there.
A lot of indo students continue to stay in australia because, 1. They graduated from an australian school and jobs are easier to find with that degree, 2. They've made australian friends in uni and have decided to stay in australia.
soonwookong [#65]its indo, even mie babi singkawang is indo
Kalau kt aku makanan indo lebih kky rendang, sate kyk gitu. Tapi mie ayam, mie babi, lebih ke makanan china. Memang orginatenya di indo. Tapi inspirasinya dari china.

Be careful of drop bears, one killed my uncle in 1977

110k a year salary with little to no skill requirement YUMM
and u get to come to perth :fire:
azeijrazjerflazeknrfgfv [#72]how is salaries in Aussie land compared to NA, let's say engineer jobs.
In Aus the average engineer salary is 90-100k a year which is about 66-70k USD a year. Mining sector is much higher wages tho, 110 to 150 isn't uncommon.
GreyDaze [#62]Do civilians really encounter the dangerous animals like snakes, spiders in their homes often like they show on the internet or is it just a misconception?
the further inland you go, the more dangerous animals you'll encounter, also our waters have the potential to be quite dangerous too.
Our waters have jellyfish, sharks, blue ringed octopus, stonefish, irukadanji, and some other just toxic critters. up north youll find crocs and snakes with the inland taipan and other venemous snakes, but if you live in the cities you only really have to watch out for drop bears, they're the worst.
sleeek [#25]what esport title is the most popular there?
Rocket League is also one of our better eSports as well
Not too bad at Halo either
Finlad [#69]Kalau kt aku makanan indo lebih kky rendang, sate kyk gitu. Tapi mie ayam, mie babi, lebih ke makanan china. Memang orginatenya di indo. Tapi inspirasinya dari china.
kayak american chinese food y wkwk
Prathades [#80]Why does Ozzie call it shrimp on the Barbie when most of my friends use prawn instead because it's bigger?
Also, why are tradies salaries higher than, for example, engineering and accounting? Could it be because of the housing crisis?
Trades salaries are pretty self-explanatory, fewer people want to become tradies because of the bad stigma around them, demand stays the same or increases, prices go up. Engineering jobs do pay well but idk how they compare with the trades. A shit ton of accounting graduates so their positions become a lot more competitive. Why would companies pay a high salary when there's a new graduate whos willing to take a lower salary.

i have a lecturer that study (kayaknya S3 soalnya jadi PhD) in Aussie and after he done with his studying, he stay there and now he literally the only lecturer that still applied an online course, dan sampe kena SP (surat peringatan) 2 dari program studi gue karena dia gabalik balik ke indo wkwkwkw now i know his reasons
An_dH [#86]How does college education there compare to Indonesia?
I am now studying at one of the best universities in Indonesia, and plan to take a master's scholarship in Australia, what do you think?
Harga beda jauh, kalau confident bisa dapet beasiswa ya coba aja. Tapi kalau plannya kerja di indonesia ya the value of the degree ga beda jauh, especially kalau UI
httdii [#81]bang tips dan trik dapet s2 di aussie dong, gw freshgrad pengen cari beasiswa tapi gatau jalurnya harus lewat mana. thankss
universitas australia suka kasih beasiswa untuk international students, gak full beasiswa tapi its a start. Kalau confident dalam grades kamu ngak hurt untuk coba apply untuk beasiswa

MagicSpecies [#84]can u suggest me some tourist spots in australia

Yeah I knew about the mining sector, but 90k for engineer seems mid at best.
KaedeTsuneta [#23]Can you guys stop destroying Bali please, thank you. Also you guys are stinky and disgusting.
I belive Russia and Ukraine ppl that most with that problem
ronaldinhoooooooooooo [#12]What is the biggest spider you’ve seen. And how frequently do you see spiders
I deadass havent seen a scary spider in years but there are a lot of tiny spiders and daddy longlegs are frequent
I also have never seen a snake besides in the zoo
a lot of australias reputations are over exaggerated
lielahh [#19]allgood lol, yeah the american education system isn't amazing in international geography (no offense to yall)
i mean why would americans learn about that shit anyway, its not like we learn about native americans here
Finlad [#87]Harga beda jauh, kalau confident bisa dapet beasiswa ya coba aja. Tapi kalau plannya kerja di indonesia ya the value of the degree ga beda jauh, especially kalau UI
Iya sih, semester depan ada program student exchange sebulan, rencana pingin ambil yang ke Australia biar setidaknya tau gimana daily life disana
ronaldinhoooooooooooo [#12]What is the biggest spider you’ve seen. And how frequently do you see spiders
I see them around once every 2 weeks give or take. Surprisingly I don’t see daddy long legs that often, instead I get black house spiders a lot. I don’t remember the biggest ever spider I’ve seen but the most recent “big” spider was like 3-4cm wide
iframedeez [#41]your 7/11 slurpee suck dick tho
I honestly have to agree, not because of the taste, but because I’ve had 7/11 slurpee 2 times in my life and I’ve gotten sick the day after both times 💀
Finlad [#89]Apalagi S3, kerja di australia s3 bisa 3 kali apa yang dia dapet di indonesia,
yea i'd absolutely stay there if i were him
lielahh [#73]110k a year salary with little to no skill requirement YUMM

Nah mate, FIFO out of Bali I reckon, I mean it's mostly Aussies there anyway and I think it's a shorter flight from most of the mines to Bali than places like Perth and Melbourne (though double check that)
Finlad [#88]universitas australia suka kasih beasiswa untuk international students, gak full beasiswa tapi its a start. Kalau confident dalam grades kamu ngak hurt untuk coba apply untuk beasiswa
