People who are criticizing EG need a reality check

Anybody with a proper understanding of economy and how things should look like in scenarios as close as possible to a perfect equilibrium, know that these people don't deserve what they are making. Don't get me wrong, it's good for the industry's growth if they get paid high but that's only meant for the orgs that can afford it, and the org that consistently makes it to the top. The fact that most of the final reward ends up with the players doesn't really help the org's situation. The players can cry fowl, but it won't change the truth.

The orgs have to partake in way too much risk for the little reward that they get. Most of it depends on their sources of funds, and not many of them can be self sufficient through marketing. For an org like EG, this was the best move not only for them but to get the Val esport whole market in place. It's only when these players lose their jobs, that they realize that having one was better than not. More and more orgs will financially leverage this situation to cut down on the player's cheques slowly and it will eventually come down to what they actually deserve in the ideal world.

Fax EG did nothing wrong

They literally even got rid of the buyouts

No, they are definitely at fault here. Why tf were they paying tier 2 caliber players 25k a month in the first place???

Nothing wrong with cutting costs now, but it should not have even gotten to this point.

You can see that while trying to sustain the org's economic status, they also care about the players unlike many others. When unintelligent people deem orgs like these as "greedy" or "cruel" despite these measures, it just shows how ungrateful they are and how only worse situations can make them realize.

That's true, none of these players should have been paid that amount to begin with. They were part of the problem but the problem already existed, they only decided to join in with what was required for them to reach the top. Now they are the ones fixing the problem, and maybe we should see it as something positive.

EG is completely innocent in this, their only sin was NOT paying the league minimum on what was a No Name team.
NA players are getting too greedy and its starting to affect other regions.
LOUD lost 3 players by now
FPX lost their AT THE TIME Goated duelist
The Guard basically collapsed even though they WON ascensions.

the market needs to be corrected ASAP
