Thoughts on KR challengers format?

I noticed that Korea is only doing one big challengers event, with open qualifiers, seeding matches, group stage and finally playoffs. It's pretty straightforward and you get to see a lot of different matchups. I think the downsides are there are a lot of seeding matches and it doesn't really give teams that aren't clicking right now a chance to improve (e.g. in EU Liquid and Fnatic only qualified after the second challengers stage). Just wanted to get people's thoughts

I personally think it's fine either way.

Ye but playoffs should be double elim since its 2 teams going to berlin, before when it was only 1 i think single elim was OK

That's a good point. Did they not change that. I didn't realize if that was the case. That'd be a huge under sight if that's actually the case.

Single Elim because the playoffs will be on LAN with audience most likely

It was lan from stage 1 though. No audience only players. Still though if two strong teams come on same side of bracket then it would be a bit disappointing
