It's more worrying that riot doesn't have a system in place for situations like this. Why even allow Guard to compete? Also the decision to not let anyone in is dogshit.

Why are the players being affected? Why cant they just go to another org?

And FA team is not the same scenario guys, yk if Turtle Troops qualified for ascension tournament they would have been picked up before they won it
