Seems like everyone is overdosing in Recency Bias
Fnatic are still the best team of 2023 with only losing 3 series all year.
EG are the most improved. went from a joke at the start to best team at the end
Loud really fumbled Tokyo

champions weights more,
its like fnatic won fa cup and league cup.
eg won the premier league

no point in arguing with them. they rate lockin (social experiment by riot) the same as champs
thatpower [#11]no point in arguing with them. they rate lockin (social experiment by riot) the same as champs
the prize pool for each events is pretty obvious which one matters most lol

Lock-in + Tokyo > Champs
Splash3 [#9]Get over fnatic bro they lost u can move on now
Not everyone moves into bandwagons like you fortunately
It’s really a tough call tbh. I think them facing in champs woulda settled which actually was the best team this year. I feel like I’m leaning more towards Fnatic since they seemed more dominant up until champs (which they finished top 4 only losing to LOUD) but you could say the same thing for EG, they only lost to Fnatic in Tokyo and PRX in champs.
EG:
Top 16 (?) lock in
Top 3 Americas
Top 2 Tokyo
Champs winner
FNC:
Won Lock in
Top 2 EMEA
Won Tokyo
Top 4 champs
Looking at this result seems pretty equal tbh
bruh336 [#15]lock in + tokyo = 450k
champs = 1m
Champs is the biggest event this year. No one denies that. But by winning 2 out of 3 trophies this year and being top 4 in Champs, fnc are overall the best team this year

fair point, but counting winning lock-in the same as winning masters is wrong IMO.

champs>lock-in + tokyo
they also got 2nd place

Fnatic not losing a single series and only dropping 3 maps across their two title wins is always gonna put them in first.
Also the fact that EG didn't beat them should be taken into account if you really need a tiebreaker.

FNC:
Better at Lock//In
Better at their regional league
Better at Masters Tokyo
Worse at Champions 2023
How does this seem equal at all is something I can't really comprehend.

I never said that.
Champs > Masters > Lock-in
But Masters and Lock-in combined are worth more than champs imo

I’m an NA fan not a bandwagon have fun watching ur shitmea teams not win anything next year

Same was said for this year, yet fnatic are the best team of 2023

Well true I guess. Fnatic was way more dominant + them only losing to LOUD in champs

I’m just looking at it like EG got top 2 in Tokyo and winning champs while FNC got top 4. I guess I just looked at champs as the most important tournament of the year. But yeah I can agree to everyone who says Fnatic had a better year but will disagree if someone says EG had better year
Champions do weight more than Masters, that should be obvious, but FNATIC did 2 majors in A ROW. and I still think if it wasn’t for LOUD they would’ve won Champions. summing up all facts, including they only lost to Liquid and LOUD (only team to consistently beat them), FNATIC was the better team overall
PS: i don’t even like FNATIC
