Hello, I'm Male (51) and I am currently Bronze 2 in Valorant. My best rank in the game was bronze 3 and I'm very proud of myself for achieving that. As the title says my wife of 28 years left me because I am addicted to Valorant. I managed to spend 2,7k euros on it (which is more then our 2nd car by the way).

My wife (53) F, has been a beautiful wife to me for the past 27 years, but everything changed around a year ago when I started to play Valorant for more then 6 hours a day. She knew I had a gaming habit, but never thought it could get as bad as mine. When I say I'm addicted I really mean it. It is like a drug for me and just the amount of dopamine I receive when I play it, unless there is a toxic player in my match which would make me angry and scream. The gun skin I bought that started it all was a skin for a Vandal. It started this addiction to buying skins and it became so bad I sometimes used our savings money to buy them. I started to play the game competitively around a year ago, also the time when I was spending 6 hours a day playing. My wife wanted to help me get out of this, she suggested that I should stop playing so much and spend my time with her (which I regret not doing), I ignored her suggestions and just kept spending my money and time. I work as a construction worker and I work 8 hours a day. When I come home I usually just hop on the game for around 3 hours, then I eat dinner and go back to the game until I am too tired to play and repeat that everyday. On the weekends I just play the game non-stop.

So back to my wife, she started getting mad since I was ignoring her and her suggestions. She released that some of our savings money is missing about a week ago and came to me asking why and where did I spent it, probably knowing that I spent it on video games I just said that I don't wanna talk about it. That was the point where she just got fed up with me and said she wants a divorce. She is currently in contact with a divorce lawyer and I don't know what to do.

I released that Valorant is ruining my life. I'm addicted to a video game and my wife is leaving me. I am currently sitting in a Valorant lobby at 3 am alone, writing this story.

i was having fun at the waterslide when suddenly i noticed a big shadow covering the entire pool i looked up and there i saw him, Ardiis. He was coming straight for me, he jumped into the pool and the velocity of the wave that followed knocked me unconcious.

When i woke up i was chained in a cold and dirty room and there he was, streaming the popular shooter game VALORANT on Twitch while talking to his chat, somehow he managed to say the word "bro" 254 times in just 3 sentences how is that even possible?? I quickly realised that the chains were actually made of chocolate, confused (and mainly hungry) i started licking and sucking them as fast as i could and managed to crawl out of the room -that i presumed was probably his mothers basement- while remaining unseen.

I searched around the house for an exit and i quickly found the front door. As soon as i exited the building i saw a horde of angry Brazilians holding blowtorches and pitchforks chanting at ardiis and calling him a racist and a loser. I didn't really care so i tried to get out of the scene as soon as possible but just as i was about to step out of the house, ardiis put his enormous hand on my shoulder and whispered with a soft and melodic tone in my ear "You're not going anywhere pumpkin pie" and "Daddy's gonna take care of this swifly". He stepped out of the house and suddenly yelled "WATCH THIS" as he flamboyantly dashed into the air and suddenly made 5 knives materialise around him. He used the knives to effortlessly tap every single brazilian in the area.

I was so afraid, blood was spilled everywhere. When it all was over ardiis looked in my direction and i knew that it was over, if they didnt stand a chance, then i wouldnt either, so i just gave up. Ardiis started walking
in my direction each step making the ground shake. When he got to me he just sat down on me saying that i got cold and he needed to warm me up. After a while he took me inside the smelly basement again and took his clothes off. He started smelling me and licking my ear, and then he suddenly got very embarrased and told me i can just leave.

Turns out that this was a huge misunderstanding, this whole time he thought that i was a chocolate egg and he wanted to eat me. The disappointment on his face when he realized the mistake he had done was palpable, a tangible testament to the depth of his sorrow.

Hello, I'm a Male Pigeon (5.1 years old) and I am currently ranked Bronze Feather 2 in "Aviary Antics". My best rank in the game was Bronze Feather 3 and I'm super proud, even got extra birdseed for that. As the title suggests, my bird partner of 28 months left me because I'm obsessed with pecking at this game on a window sill tablet. I've managed to spend 2,700 breadcrumbs on it (which is more than our nest renovations by the way).

My bird partner (5.3 years) F, has been a wonderful mate to me for the past 27 months, but everything changed around a month ago when I started pecking at "Aviary Antics" for more than 6 hours a day. She knew I had a pecking habit, but never thought I'd prioritize a digital worm over a real one. When I say I'm obsessed, I really am. The digital worms just seem tastier. And then there was that shiny feather accessory I bought for my avatar – that's when I knew I had a problem. I sometimes used our stash of breadcrumbs for these in-game purchases. I even started to get competitive in pecking games, dedicating hours to it. My partner wanted me to fly around more and bring back real worms (which I regret not doing), but the game worms just seemed easier.

So, about my partner, she got understandably frustrated. One day she noticed our breadcrumb stash was low and when she asked me about it, probably guessing I'd spent it on more digital feathers, I just fluffed up and refused to chirp about it. That was the last straw for her. She's now chilling with the sparrows down the street and I'm unsure how to win her back.

I've realized that "Aviary Antics" is messing with my bird brain. I'm pecking away my life on a game while my partner is singing songs with someone else. Here I am, perched on a digital lobby at sunrise, chirping out this story.
