How many series do we think EDG wins in playoffs?

I love EDG but the problem I've been noticing has been more and more glaring the more matches I watched of EDG.

I have noticed since Tokyo because EDG mostly win by people just popping off and not really masterfully maneuvering and drawing rotations (mid-rounding) and while they have some cool ideas here and there, they've felt more like tricks rather than a truly adaptable strategy to stick to. Instead they just rely on heroics and because of that if no one is popping off on EDG on match day, they'll just not look pretty at least against good teams. The series against PRX is one such example and I fear if they get matched up against anyone other than FUT they'll struggle really hard. I'm not counting their wins against GIA because they're really just not that good.

At their best, they could win against PRX but their consistency leaves a lot to desire and they just feel like they play like old PRX when jingg and forsaken would just troll and push with no utility or teammate. Ultimately until they learn to not only rely on heroics I really fail to see them making it too far.

TLDR; not good enough fundamentals and overly reliant on heroics, really wish they'd correct their really bad habits

Not really, PRX plays like a crazed hivemind, jumping around with shorties and winning (& throwing) bizarre rounds for their antics.

EDG is worse mechanically, but they play with true and tested gameplans, albeit with lots of luck and heroics involved.

EDG will for sure get dismantled by FNC, for example, but PRX will stand a chance.

completely disagree if anything its the opposite, prxs utility and teamwork is much better than edgs, and current edg end up throwing more rounds than current prx. add on to that prx are better mechanically, if they rematch prx would win imo

prx still do throw rounds tho

That's literally what I said. PRX plays a bizarre game, and they win based off of that. They are evidently the pinnacle of coordination, I have thus referenced their hivemind nature.

True and tested means default. There isn't anything "special" about EDG's comp, no Yoru, no Gekko, no Reyna, no Phoenix, no intentional "trolling". They can make brash, aggressive calls when empowered, but their gameplay follow the usual cadence. PRX, on the other hand, has rounds that end in literal 10 seconds.

I disagree that EDG is worse mechanically, EDG is less batshit crazy like PRX but also doesn't use their utilities as smart or well. In a lot of ways EDG trolls just as much as PRX or probably more because they don't use util like PRX do when someone does push hard. Perhaps my perception is skewed but in my memory jingg is always accompanied by util when he trolls, something not so much.

Don't think they can really clear NRG or LOUD to be sure, at least if both teams turn up on the day. EDG imo would need to have a good day where someone is on fire otherwise they'll lose against these teams if these fenis and saadhak are calling right.
