Used to play regularly until like 6 months ago. Haven't played since then. But regularly follow and watch the pro matches from all regions
Pretty much stopped playing when Chamber became the instalock every game. The game just got less fun when you know people are picking the same agents every game.
At least in pro matches it makes sense, but I'm just trying to have fun when I'm playing matchmaking.
I also stopped playing i think ranked is overrated (peak gold 2) and premier looks fun but i dont have friends and time to play

Oh yeah I used to play and I was Gold, doesn't matter to me, I just enjoy watching it.
playing it definitely increases your interest in pro matches, last year I played and would stay up all night watching VCT. Yesterday I fell asleep watching a hype match (Navi vs loud) at 12:45 am when it's sunday.
Champions is pretty much the last val event im watching, then it's over. The game doesnt feel as interesting, nor do the streams.
time constraints, last played in Jan'21. Most of my friends too stopped playing and solo queuing felt boring.
Following the esports scene though. Maybe someday when I'll get time to spare I'll play.

i was radiant like 1 year ago then the game became insanely boring due how shit ranked is compared to esports, only playing 10mans time to time tho
still watching vct is extremely entertaining bc how good the strats and games are
