Theory on the money riot gives partnered teams

The rules require all players participating in the VCT circuit to be paid a minimum salary of 7k a month

What if, say, Turtle Troops were to win ascension though?

Or what if the org that makes it through Ascension is small and just isn't able to pay that much?

In my opinion, the "financial support" that riot gives partnered teams has to be 36k a month for player salaries (5 players + a mandatory sub)

$600k base.

and then more money based on an orgs commitment to help riot grow the esport.
Also more money with skins sales.

yeah since riot is funding the partnership themselves kinda makes me wonder if sen is just lying for cash lol

theres no way between riot and rob moore funding they just let the biggest org die especially an org with the biggest CC and a wage bill that isn't exactly outrageous

i just know those players are getting paid like 50k a month because theres no way the org is bleeding money this hard

that 700k monthly number includes pretty much all rosters with coaches and most employees lol

it comes out to like 9 mil in salarying the entire org, doesn't even seem like alot

true but does sen even have a stable income? apart from the occasional sponsor and merch (which probably doesn't sell all that much anymore since they bombed out of LCQ), they probably run a constant deficit with no income source to back it up

According to sources, the estimated stipend amount will fluctuate between regions and depend on performance and the league’s revenue sources. The minimum fee across all regions is $600,000 but it could go as high as $1.5 million if certain deliverables are met.

most orgs do run deficits and i would assume they are only behind NRG and 100t in merch as far as NA orgs go

personally, it's just rob moore trying to speedrun sen profitability, esports orgs are investments, he would 100% liquidize some of his networth if he had to use it to keep sen afloat especially with how chinese val looks like it could blow up like league
