I need tips to avoid procrastinating (especially with my studies) for this upcoming sem man. I've been procrastinating my studies and assignments so much, its been getting really bad. Anyone got any tips to solve this issue? I know its mostly a problem only I can solve, but any help is appreciated 🙏

You already know the answer, it's to stop procrastinating and get to work...
there is not really a secret way to avoid procrastinating...

its diff for everyone, i have a rly small attention span so typically I have some sort of music running that sorta matched to the beat of what i'm doing. helps me settle more into my work and give it my all, and it helps me focus for at least 3-4 hours straight.

Find a way to make studying fun. That's the only thing that's worked for me. Idk how you van do that but I liked to set myself little challenges in my mind to achieve, like trying to remember a certain list of things. Making flashcards is a good idea to do this but I have never used this technique.

If its procrastinating in other things like chores then I would say listen to something that you enjoy like a podcast or music while doing a boring task. I can't guarantee that this will work but it is worth trying.

I see, thanks a lot for your response. This tip sounds good considering how shit my attention span has been these days

If you have tried the jollier ways then You should do something a bit harsher.

Punish yourself for procrastinating, No Val/No Doordash or idfk how you would do it but make yourself regret procrastinating way more than you do rn- that’s the only way you’d be able to not procrastinate imo

Divide the amount of time for each assignment/chapter and take note of a study routine via a planner. Each day can be a day worth of finishing an assignment or a module

Start going to the gym. It subtly teaches you discipline and gets the oxygen in your body flowing. You're not lazy, you're never lazy, you just need to feel confident in whatever you do and start believing that you have goals and ambitions and you can reach it if you put in the work.
