They coulda just signed the OPTIC core, and everything would be chilling with marved and the core with tenz, but they gambled on the xset dudes + 2 Brazilians with English as their 2nd language. Not hate ofc love them, but if they had the money to spend why not on the optic core or smth.

Yay wanted to leave optic because according to him they hit their peak. Marved also wanted to leave before champs as well but he didn't

optic core probably thought sen as an org is as shady as rrq and decided nrg was a well managed org - may also have been lured in by the team chef, which is an absolutely valid reason, i would too

sen might have had better choices but it wasn't the worst idea they could have - they could have kept shahzam and dapr

Are you kidding me? That has o be the dumbest reason. If that was his real reason then yay isn't that clever. I thought it was money issues...

It’s not something that was confirmed but it makes sense given how they’ve managed their valorant team in the past year and a half

NRG and Optic as organizations also have pretty close ties to each other.

H3cz was co owner of NRG for a while iirc
