I strongly believe whoever makes the decisions for c9 valorsnt isnt the same as c9 csgo (pretty obv i hope u get the point).

https://www.hltv.org/news/36649/cloud9-confirm-electronic-and-perfecto-signings

the buyout clause for elec and perf was 2m$.

Look at this and tell me c9 arent jus trolling in val.

Money was never the issue with y0y either if theyre okay throwing 2m$ for two players only. They just dont care enough about val or think that it isnt the same investment ig. Another thing is the fact that they dont even have any partnerships in csgo yet they still throw insane amounts of money in their lineup. I just dont get what theyre doin in val.

they don't. they havent played that many tourneys and neither have they any partnerships. their team rarely plays any tourneys apart from open qualifier ones and dont play any blast at all.

I doubt they make money in CS bombing out of every important tournament and not even qualifying to the last major

C9 csgo have being making silly roster decisions for a while.
This is them making a good move for once in a while.

bad move examples:
Kick interz for buster for no reason.
c9 colossus https://twitter.com/RyanAtDust2/status/1316743322677936130?s=20 (this is crazy)
half of the c9 na rosters.
spent 200k on fns who lasted less than 2 months on the team.

yes that is indeed true but their pros outweigh their cons.

Elec perf, signing gambit, the major winning lineup's creation, dropping csgo altogether in between etc were all great decisions imo.
