so they’ve now become the favorites of ascension, but even if guard wins will riot even give them a franchise slot?

guard’s parent company has unlimited money and are very successful at winning in sports, but I think they realized esports is just burning money. I’m hoping for G2 to buyout the guard roster bc they honestly should be in t1 and would add some great rivalry games

doesnt change the fact that they are a clown org

i think wat would happen is that the players will fs be in even if the org backs out. Then there will b a bidding war for the team and the winner will need to be approved by riot to enter the league. So no matter wat whether they play under the guard or a different org the 5 players that win ascension will be in vct.

I don’t think guard’s parent company wants ascension

The team gets the spot not the org. In theory there's meant to be a bunch of player protection
