.
Getting 11-12th in an international lan should 100% be considered a very good placement.
The Superteam is of course good you fucking stupid donkey.
And im not fucking bandwagoning Edg- im supporting an underdog, nobody thinks they’ll not lose to loud or they would have won against liquid- but i chose them cause I want the underdog to win.
Blood boiling levels of idiocy on display here
take fnatic for example. they follow this strategy , and have been doing this since their inception(sumn fc)
they never play teams that they have to play in the near future (1 month). but there are huge no. of teams in tier 2 that are good.
boaster especially says how good the tier 2 turkish teams are. their strats arent polished, but they have heavy aggression, as in they take duels boldy and have the best aim(in general) in probably the entire world
this gives them enough practice. honestly i also thought the same as you, as you never get to actually test your strats out. but having been following fnatic, i have learned that , thats not necessary. i dont play with them so i will never know what exactly helps, but one thing is for sure, not playing other t1 teams is quite common
That only works since as you said t2 turkish teams are pretty decent and also have crack aims, fnatic still getting the prac they needed while also hiding their strats meanwhile you have DRX, apart from not scrimming with korean teams for fear of strats being leak, DRX also indirectly caused the entire korean scene to be stagnant and not improve at all bc their number 1 team won't scrim with them
yea, i can understand that. and it might be one of the reasons why drx struggled at international events. i was just trying to say that not scrimming tier 1 teams that you are going to compete against, is a good strat followed by many teams over different games even. but yea this could've definitely been one of the reasons of drx form over the years
