bros never heard of june-vember ๐ na education ๐ฟ โ๏ธ
reycac [#4]tell me how month day year makes sense
I have no real explanation besides we say "it's June 15th" in conversation instead of saying "it's the 15th of June" so it always made sense to put the month first to me
reycac [#4]tell me how month day year makes sense
In conversation we say "It's June 15, 2023" not "its the 15th of June, 2023"
Just makes way more sense IMO
At least that's how it is in the US

Idk if it's an american thing, but here in NZ we say the 15th of June as much as if not more than june 15th. But either way, it's more logical to go in order (d/m/y) or reverse order (y/m/d) than m/d/y. It's also easier to get the relevant info faster for d/m/y becaues for dates the day is most often the most important.

Thats all subjective though
You can't objectively say one way of formatting day, month, or year is better than another because the one the person grew up with is the one they will be more comfortable with/prefer.

the going in order from biggest to smallest or smallest to biggest isn't subjective, it's logical. It's easier to get the relevant info faster because it's the first number, and the day is the most important number for everyday life.

You said it was"easier to get relevant info fast"
It's not easier to get the relevant info fast if that format is not what you're accustomed to

It's easier to get relevant info faster because you read the most relevant info first.

idk bro, a lot of people from my school in the us use d/m/y (except for on assignments where they need to use mdy)
