LOUD EG
FNC NRG
TL EDG
DRX PRX
Seinaru [#2]how the fuck drx play againts prx again bro like bfr
same thing with eg v loud, theyve quite literarlly been 13-0d by them
yoboikingkong [#10]its random, what can we do
this just can’t be random
AND IF IT IS THEN WHY CANT THEY DO IT ON STREAM
yoboikingkong [#10]its random, what can we do
Okay,
So we can switch same region matchups.
Because it’s not fun😄
blazennn [#11]this just can’t be random
AND IF IT IS THEN WHY CANT THEY DO IT ON STREAM
Because it’s not
They are sucking emea cock and balls rn
Wronghand [#14]Lowkey funny as fuck that we get a Pacific v Pacific and a AM vs AM, but EMEA (the 1 and 4 seed) were made sure to be spread to different sides of the bracket.
Would much rather the ethical
Fnatic v NRG
Liquid v EDGLoud v DRX
PRX v EG

they have literally done all the previous draws live in front of the orgs/managers, and they later release the video. can you wait you fucking donuts?
moshimoshiman24 [#3]2 matches r good but y we gotta have drx prx and loud eg
because coz of randomness, we cant guarantee all 4 match ups will be fair and interesting
yoboikingkong [#16]they have literally done all the previous draws live in front of the orgs/managers, and they later release the video. can you wait you fucking donuts?
that’s cool they record a video of when they “draw” them but that isn’t doing it on stream live so their audience can see. It shows nothing and it’s only for them to validate it. Majority would much rather a draw after groups end it’s not that hard
yoboikingkong [#17]because coz of randomness, we cant guarantee all 4 match ups will be fair and interesting
randomness? you sure buddy, almost every masters they had to fight against each other in playoffs, go check lol

Bro the only matchup I wanted was EG vs PRX. That would have been SO insane.
But instead AM vs AM for the quadrillion time. More AM teams have taken out AM teams than EMEA or Pacific has, combined. It's insane.
yoboikingkong [#17]because coz of randomness, we cant guarantee all 4 match ups will be fair and interesting
i get that part but y do we have matches between same regions in the 1st round. it kind of ruins the point of an international
yoboikingkong [#16]they have literally done all the previous draws live in front of the orgs/managers, and they later release the video. can you wait you fucking donuts?
“Keep doing a draw until we get the matchups we went through with”
Strat

We have seen this match already twice in In americas league
We have seen DRX VS PRX THRICE IN PACIFIC
SURELY WE DO SOMETHING HERE?

definitely, but i was saying that for people questioning the fairness of the draw.
also it requires availability. not all org people will be free at the same time, they might be available at an awkward time like 9 pm jst, you cant just live stream randomly.
sirenseath [#19]randomness? you sure buddy, almost every masters they had to fight against each other in playoffs, go check lol
??? how ? prx didnt go playoff champs
prx didnt meet drx in masters 2
prx only met drx once in masters 1

i agree. but its the strategy riot works with. all i want to say is that its not "rigged", whether its the best way to do things or not is subjective
yoboikingkong [#24]definitely, but i was saying that for people questioning the fairness of the draw.

I mean it’s def possible to set it up
Just put a set time before groups even start which would literally be after groups ends. If a ORG for some reason can’t make it they can either watch after or have a representative. Easy fix for something that should of already been implemented at least then some of the complaining would stop
yoboikingkong [#17]because coz of randomness, we cant guarantee all 4 match ups will be fair and interesting
bro we always had to see na vs na on first match and now that we have americas instead of na we got americas vs americas this shit cant be random if it always happens
koromast [#28]bro we always had to see na vs na on first match and now that we have americas instead of na we got americas vs americas this shit cant be random if it always happens
1st it happened only twice
2nd the playoffs are seeded such that a #1 seed(already qual team) plays a qualified team
we had 50% of the qualified teams in americas region
we had 25% of the teams as # 1 seed already in playoffs
the chances of one of the match ups being americas vs americas was thus quite high

yep, i agree, i prefer it to be livestream. it could be better managed, but it wasnt. and again, even without that, it still doesnt justify people questioning the fairness of draw
yoboikingkong [#30]yep, i agree, i prefer it to be livestream. it could be better managed, but it wasnt. and again, even without that, it still doesnt justify people questioning the fairness of draw
definitely is justified

just 1 master they did not went face to face, master berlin, master reykjavík, and now they had to go face to face at the start of the playoffs. Tell me is there any other team that had this issue?

LOUD x OpTic (NRG)
reykjavik - uppers and grands
copenhagen - groups
champions - groups, uppers, and grand final (wtf lmfao)
lock//in - semis
americas regional - groups and grands
:)
There's literally only 8 teams, most of which have made deep runs at international tournaments, and with the way the seeding works there's just not a lot of different possibilities.
Since Loud have already played EG and NRG in Americas, and DRX at LOCK//IN, there was a 75% chance that Loud would get a rematch of sorts.
Wronghand [#20]Bro the only matchup I wanted was EG vs PRX. That would have been SO insane.

Yeah it's crazy how the region with the most teams in playoffs has same region matchups more than the regions with fewer teams in the playoffs

LOL,it not like they were arrange to fight against each other at the start, you high or what? all of them happened because they were winning and they met at the semis and final, and you are taking americas regional as an example?? you are just stupid. We are talking about facing each other at the start of the playoffs/groups which is decided by riot. Not facing each other after winning.
