First time ever saying this about any match, that random doubledink wallbang into dugout cuz he was trying to shoot the dog wtf..
Yahya [#2]Also alot of rounds edg shouldve just left site and played retake
Yeah if only they were better in post plant
calabasa [#12]its such BS that T1 lost 6 rounds in a row, and could still buy rifles every round. light shields are busted, thats so fking dumb
EDG choke keep crying.
brahianv [#4]really? you are pissed because your team choke again when it matters? Kangkak dropping the op for no reason in the game they fucking choke the game.
i still cant get over this decision. what a choke
BoF7ooM [#13]if only they were better....
I do agree I think they need to improve on their post plant is what I mean. They're just coping by staying on site, I mean it worked a lot of times but not all

He dropped op because harbor + viper ult? I think even if he killed the kj lurk the random wb hs kill into dugout gave them the man advantage
vanssr [#17]Edg lost because they bad ok fair enough
I think most people agree that EDG looked like the better team ngl. But a win is a win, hope they can do something in the lower bracket - they need to improve their postplants
SamBR [#19]T1 will beat Navi too (in lower)
chill
Nah, EDG will win vs NRG and T1 to go to playoffs

China fan huffing that copium (they have no wins in an international tournament)
paci0 [#24]China fan huffing that copium (they have no wins in an international tournament)
Yah EDG choking in both league and val like tf
horse69 [#26]with ur logic did EG win because of luck? (demon1 two kills lotus fully blinded)
Idk didn't watch, I mean all in all if I'm being serious then EDG could've avoided losing to luck if they actually worked on their postplants cause their sprays were never hitting. It was just ridiculous in the moment seeing xeta missing a shot on a skye dog thus wallbang hsing someone in dugout. In the end T1 got pretty lucky in moments while EDG didn't but if they were one of the best teams like FNC etc. then luck wouldn't be enough to beat them - it's just unfortunate that everyone's gonna continue shitting on CN because they haven't won a match even tho it was very close and they've shown insane potential

showing potential isn't enough if you can never get results - do you think DRX is a top 3 team in the world?
cyphered [#28]showing potential isn't enough if you can never get results - do you think DRX is a top 3 team in the world?
they are not even top 5

Isn't enough for what? Being the top 3 teams? Ofc not, I don't think EDG is a top 3 team I just think they deserve to be at Tokyo, there's a lot of people saying they don't deserve it at all but I mean every single match they've played is very close, and also entertaining as hell tbh I mean just think of what the jp crowd thought of kk's plays today (and before you say it, ofc entertaining isnt enough but given they were 12-11 at one point then I think it's a fair point to bring up, ofc it doesnt work for a team who got demolished just cause one of their jetts is popping off)

What i meant was that i see edg and drx in a similar position in that they can't win when it really matters.
And EDG probably don't deserve to be at Tokyo. Despite all the hype, China still has 0 international wins and I think the region probably only deserves 1 team at this point. In this case, that means ASE would go (even though EDG is the better team)
Nilonesia [#32]welcome to val x-x
accept the L EDG got more work to do anyways. They shouldn't be at the level where a lucky spray can decide the entire outcome of the game against T1 if they want to be a great team.
Well said, they're looking a lot better in other aspects now at least

EDG has a far smaller sample size to be fair, this is their 4th international game and they're already making so many improvements - ASE is still far from international level but they were 10-10 with DRX at one point. I really encourage you to watch the T1 game because it really does change your perspective even though I do understand your view. I mean it was the same with fnatic when everyone expected them to be a winner but it just wasn't happening - until they finally won Lock In. Only time will tell.
funny_prank [#36]nah from an edg fan this is just coping, at the end of the day whoever won won the game
Lol I can acknowledge that I just posted this as a reaction to the moment xeta got that wb hs kill in dugout cause he missed the shot on the skye dog which was ridiculous. T1 did get lucky but a better team wouldnt have let themselves lose to pure luck, All love - hoping EDG come back strong in lower bracket
xSaneZ [#22]I think most people agree that EDG looked like the better team ngl. But a win is a win, hope they can do something in the lower bracket - they need to improve their postplants
I don't think most people agree that EDG looked like the better team. EDG looks like they always did, great individual skill, explosive playstyle but unable to close series out... most people probably agree with this

No that's what I expected but EDG actually played far better strat-wise than T1. Just watch the game yourself and you'll see, EDG were actually the ones getting aim diffed on fracture btw. Tarik and TMV did also say EDG were the better team, their chats (most not all) agreed, if you were looking at forums during the game there were tons of posts about EDG being better too and people asking "how does the clearly better team lose" lots of YT comments on the EDG clips etc. And actually I'll give you the sole reason why, its because they cannot spray a spike defuse for shit - if they could btw they would've ended halves 9-3 against T1. Now I thought this was a small problem they could fix, but this has been the consistent reason why they've been losing series ever since they played vs PRX a year ago. CN just not used to playing post plant and for some reason they're not improving at it (though they are at all the other aspects)

I watched the match, not sure why you're assuming I didn't. They were only the better team tactically on Haven (where T1 really looked lost).
