Seeding is a phenomenon that occurs in professional sports and now they have recently introduced this in E-sports as well.
The Concept is that the Best team from a particular region should face a “comparatively” worse team from another region, because they have worked hard to be the best team in their respective region and the other team deserves to prove themselves and why they deserve the spot.

are you telling me that DRX purposely threw the grand finals against PRX????? allowing themselves to be the first ever team to be reverse swept in a bo5 in VCT history just so they could get second seed from Pacific so they could play their first match against ASE in groups and have to play either EG or FUT next!!!! AND then giving themselves less time to rest but also having to show more of their strats earlier in the tournament!!!! 😱😱😱😱
