It's fine to say there SHOULD be a fundamental basis for human rights, but at the same time, the human rights in countries like Saudi Arabia will be different from the U.S, Countries like India are culturally very very different than a country such as the U.S.
In Saudi Arabia it's much more tolerant to men being in power and women being the housewives, not because it's better or worse, just because it's the accepted norm, While in the U.S people are fighting so much against that fact that it's actively getting oppressive on males and overexaggerating a lot of things to seem like things they are not.
I get the point, but whether u like it or not, different places are at different places in history and sadly, we need to accept that, whether we like it or not, because they are not the same as us, and that's also okay, just because your friends do not have the exact same views as you, you don't try to change them to suit you, i don't think this should be any different with countries either.
