i dont think its gonna live longer than 2 years if the league is gonna be this dominant. fnatic, loud and drx.
nah there will be some shady shit by riot and the orgs you just mentioned. riot will pay each top league team around 50M to play like shit and let new teams from each league emerge so fnatic loud and drx dont farm their leagues for the rest of history. trust me, in the next 5 years there will be a sting operation done by the fbi and find the riot games is doing shady shit with these dominating teams.
they definitely need a mid season transfer or one after every split. the way that some players are able to stay this whole year is just too stagnant.
riot also needs to connect tier 1 and tier 2 more, for example letting the winner of ascension play in lcq. having the same teams and same players is dull
Some orgs shouldn't be there tbh. There are orgs that have much better structure an have tradition in fps games (Like NIP in EMEA, G2 [ok i understand why they aren't on franchise, but it would be great to have them in EMEA again], Astralis, Faze [i don't know why they are in VCT NA and not in Franchise]
FNEGGS [#7]Probably when they start to wipe out the orignal players from these rosters.
In 5 years I doubt we'll know any of the kids playing in NA t1
why would people stay playing t1 cs for almost a decade but not play pro valorant in 5 years? genuine question i want to know the difference between the two in your head
PandaZ [#2]They started Franchise wayyyy too early
ehhh i disagree, it wasnt a bad time to do it, 2 years into the game and its booming, but then i feel like they shouldnt have done it period, the format they had before was fine and people were making money and there was actually competition now half of each league is just getting there ass busted while the other half is dogging there shit, maybe year 2 will be better
juno_VLR [#16]i think people will keep playing. but the esports scene is HORRENDOUS and likely won’t improve. tier 2 rejects, tier 2 casters, impossible to observe, high roster turnover, only like 4 major tournaments a year, etc.
half these people can't cast or interview for shit im ngl. panpoc and brenshow hard carrying. everyone else sucks so bad
val new game growing new talent tho. lettem cook
weakest_marved_enjoyer [#19]there will be a lot of new players, that werent cs pros, thatll come in and help other teams take over. C9 already showing that these new players can bring something and help win games
and a good percent of those players will prolly never be able to play at the biggest stage the game has to offer xD
ash_knuckles [#21]and a good percent of those players will prolly never be able to play at the biggest stage the game has to offer xD
if you dont think there will be new players thatll come in and boost teams like SEN or 100T or FURIA over the edge youre dumb as fuck.

Yeah the competition is what makes me not like that they established franchising so early because they didn't allow for the talent pool to grow and better teams to be made
