Vlr
KoreanOverlord
he was fake flagger 🗿🗿
Tanmayyy [#11]KoreanOverlord
he was fake flagger 🗿🗿
idk he been MIA for so long rn, all i know is that we had a chat in korean in one of my thread when drx lost to zeta in lower bracket. i doubt he was fake flagging. man was TOO passionate about damwon to be fake flagging
valulrantefanboy [#13]Im korean but not from south
ah yes, the infamous north korean here. can vouch for that

I know him outside of vlr. He's not a fakeflagger.
archetype [#15]I know him outside of vlr. He's not a fakeflagger.

Tanmayyy [#11]KoreanOverlord

No he wasn't, hard vouch since I knew him outside of vlr too

Domination [#31]Hi, I'm a Korean but I don't speak Korean
didn't know alliance broadband was a thing in kr
I thought you wanted to say 'you learned Korean with comic and webtoon.' In this situation, you don't have to add '으로' and '랑' together. '만화랑 anki로' would be the best answer haha. I just mentioned it cuz u learn Korean. I hope your Korean learning would never face any difficulities!
MourninggStarr [#38]yes my name is Koreans how can I help u :3
LMAO. Frankly speaking, my name is Cuba then haha. Glad to see you, 'Koreans'.
ZhangWei [#53]What site koreans use when discussing valorant or esports in general?
That is dcinside. Its personality is quite hard to explain but it might be similar with reddit. In Korea, League has the biggest e-sports community. Valorant is really small compared with League and Vlr
Derpp [#33]didn't know alliance broadband was a thing in kr
it isnt. his family moved to mumbai after his korean parent got a job opportunity there, and hes been on alliance broadband since

I see but why is the korean community in val is small? Koreans are really competitive in esports, it's hard for me to imagine Riot not promoting their game in korea

valarante childe game

It could be long to explain situation here. I would start my idea mentioning ur sentences. I hope u understand these are subjective and can't represent all.
Val's popularity is not small in Korea. You might have heard there are many PC rooms in Korea. Checking the share of each game played in PC rooms can be used as current popularity trend. Val is now 3rd ranked. Compared with last year, it becomes popular. Riot has done many promotions for Val players in KR server.
But we need to know that League has overwhelming statue in Korean gaming market. Though its power in global is not same with the past, it is still the most popular and most played game in Korea. Referring the share in PC room I mentioned, it has been 1st ranked for 4 years. Except for the launch of Overwatch and battleground, it is almost 1st ranked for a decade. Thus though Val becomes popular, there is still a big mountain, league.(now it has 8 times more shares than VAL in PC room)
I think FPS originally has not gained big popularity in Korea. There has been CSGO but it was not and is not popular. Koreans might prefer AOS or RPG more.
And there is Korean-native FPS game by Nexon(KR gaming comp). It is 'Sudden Attack.' It was launched almost 15 years ago but it has still many heavy users.
Korean birth rate is so low and it is reflected in the inflows of e-sports users.
Those are why VAL is still small compared with League ig.

im a writer for the site so technically somewhat. typically for our staff/writing team or notable valorant community members :)

Thanks for the lengthy explanation. Glad to know Val has gained it's footing in Korea

Take it easy bro. As I am native, I can't fully understand ur hardship. But watching or reading Korean materials like drama in Netflix or etc can help u learn Korean naturally.
juho [#75]:)) hope to visit jeju someday!!
Haha jeju is the best choice to travel Korea. If u like climbing Mt Halla would be the best opt

That is right haha but u know we can't say that DC is not the biggest community in Korean.
