Another 13-0
Same thing as last year this is not their level, even FPX is not close to them.
KK and QQ are one of the best in the world in their roles, too bad we can't see them in franchised league yet.
OpTic_IND_forsaken [#2]I wonder why there's such a big difference within a region
They all started playing together at same time
Coach and talent diff

no they did not . Many quit and only v few remain
Chinese league is basically only starting right now in this tournament
Typer [#3]Didn't they had hard time in last match?
They started slow and lost first half 3-9, but the rest of the 2 maps were just one sided
Yessirskiiii [#7]They need better teams to scrim/play against
they scrim against top apac teams all the time lil bro
There's a huge amount of turnover in the Chinese scene. By far, the surviving Chinese rosters from last year are only EDG, FPX, NTER, and ASE (you can count NOP as well.) EDG and FPX has the stability for almost over a year now and heads above the rest in terms of experience (EDG being the only Chinese team to attend two international LANs.)
Give it some time, the progress will start as the scene stabilizes.

That's why theres a /play after the scrim lil bro

moreso than rosters , many players also left . Many do remain but i can hardly recognise the names and i watched last year's FGC so much
some also changed their names
JiangLi [#12]yes they play against top APAC teams too
Go look at their upcoming games and completed games. Playing against teams like that won't improve EDG
JiangLi [#5]no they did not . Many quit and only v few remain

why would they quit when valorant finally officially releases?
Numbx [#16]All hype over again... dont Hype EDG too much bro, they are only good in APAC
Talented aimers but i've never seen a team with discipline issues that bad. Looked like they were playing ranked
Skywarp [#15]why would they quit when valorant finally officially releases?
They quit when it was not out officially hence "basically only starting right now"
Yessirskiiii [#14]Go look at their upcoming games and completed games. Playing against teams like that won't improve EDG
right? thats why every international event people Hype EDG, and then they get eliminated in 2 games
Skywarp [#15]why would they quit when valorant finally officially releases?
it only happened now and there was no certainty of when its gna be launched . Many might return tho but in between there was a blank period
Numbx [#19]right? thats why every international event people Hype EDG, and then they get eliminated in 2 games
Idk why people get so defensive lol. Americans and EMEA is full of elite teams playing against each other which will make the teams better in turn. Meanwhile EDG just rolling over some random team won't improve them at all. It's just common sense

you mean in tournaments ? no they dont . idk js riot design their league that way bcuz of their government rules
if they played , they would improve much quicker

Yes I agree w you... all EDG players are very good, I love watching their games, but in big tournaments (outside APAC) they always go below expectations :/

even in APAC they dont rly play any tournaments tho , they only played once in East Asia LCQ which comprised of only JP , KR teams and surprisingly won so everyone rated them high
JiangLi [#20]it only happened now and there was no certainty of when its gna be launched . Many might return tho but in between there was a blank period
but the launch was announced in december, why would they not play the qualifiers?
Skywarp [#27]but the launch was announced in december, why would they not play the qualifiers?
many alr started to leave before East Asia LCQ and Champions 2022
Numbx [#16]All hype over again... dont Hype EDG too much bro, they are only good in APAC
All hype? They were litteraly the better team against 100 Thieves if KK didn't throw (as always).
They are good, so good and could be top 6 in the world if they teach him to keep his cool and not overheat every second.
