No cap, only map where mid is worth some. Breeze unironically the best map.

Problem with most maps is that spawn rotation is too strong so mid control is not that good. Ascent is mediocre in that department, better than all the others. But breeze does it perfectly. The only thing I'd change with breeze is the A bombsite. I don't like it, feels too open and most utilities become useless.

And yet at least in pro matches icebox became attacker sided

I think it is defended sided for now, because attack also has plenty of options, but due to the fact that Breeze is brand new, players have not yet learned to attack properly. Also, from what I've experienced from my time on CSGO+ Valorant, players always learn to defend first then attack with a new map. When Icebox was released, plenty of people thought in the same way, but nowadays the map is more attack sided.
