I think you should also take into consideration that we don't know as much as the teams do themselves. Maybe they have been good on those maps in scrims. But I do agree, on most days and by most teams, this would be called trolling the map veto.

You counter strat their map pick not yours. Picking Pearl is just braindead. Plus you cannot rely on counter strats, teams fix their weaknesses

actually, it's pretty smart ngl. m80 have not looked great on pearl, let's be real. and neither dsg or moist can play any of the maps you mentioned well. in fact, both have outright banned split and fracture during the split
