Subreezy [#5]i'd rather be a joke than be on hltv
i would rather be a no star vlr basement dweller than be seen on hltv forums
SAMPV6 [#2]and I thought VLR was braindead
Some guy still talking about hiko being on a pro team lol. These hltv npcs just regurgitate information, play 2 games of unranked valorant don't follow the scene but trash it all the time.

Pretty sure he's talking about how 2020 hiko got into a pro team.
brobeans [#20]what is a hltv
its a site that VLR copied basically. its the csgo version of vlr with more retarded forums but the actual site itself (stats, rankings, news articles, etc.) is miles better
brobeans [#20]what is a hltv
copy of vlr gg but filled with boomers who couldn't adapt to change and like being stuck playing the same thing over and over with no variety
CasualEsportViewer [#19]Pretty sure he's talking about how 2020 hiko got into a pro team.
negative IQ
SAMPV6 [#26]negative IQ
"Hiko? He wasn't that bad during 2016ish"
"Yeah he was okay about 7 years ago. He was absolutely cooked in CSGO before Valorant saved his career"
Don't care if you thought hiko was good or bad, but this guy is referencing 2020
titanwithpp [#23]These HLTV bots don't understand the process of practice, adapting and getting better at a game. They act like ex Tier 2-3 CS players being in Tier 1 valorant scene makes the game easy.
Getting into the game in 2020 was easy, I hope we can agree on that. The thing is, being a part of the tier 1 scene for longer makes it easier to learn the meta and adapt to changes in the game more quickly, so it’s hard to just pick up the game and play at a tier 1 level in 2023. You can’t just switch and easily be a top tier pro despite being a good CS pro.

why are you getting downvoted? VLR indeed got inspired from HLTV and other similar forum platforms.

Don’t you think that VLR users do the same for CS? IMO, it’s weird to just act like the other side is stupid when people on VLR do the same shit. But that’s just me, I just play devils advocate on both VLR and HLTV.

Even now adjusting to the meta is difficult. You know how nerfing chamber has affected so many players. How old jett nerfs almost pushed her out of meta. Its not like some Tier 1 CS player could come and just be the best at the game because even if they do, they'll be average with changing meta. The main thing that makes valorant difficult is the adaptability.
As ScreaM mentioned before, "the best thing about valorant is the challenge it brings and how you have to adapt to the game since it changes a lot".

People don’t like when someone says something good about CSGO on VLR. It’s the same on HLTV, people don’t like someone saying something good about Valorant on HLTV.

Both have polar opposite views. Everyone reacts negatively to the opposite game.
LULE [#36]actual NPCs right there lmao
I do wonder how old they are
They say they're older than 15 but the way they talk or type tells me they have the mental capacity of a 15 year old.

All boomers but with less developed brains

No ? The only time there's anything related to hltv or cs is when they make a post here. Riot games don't care about Valve lol. It's the exact same thing with league and Dota. Huge insecurities.

Like this shit I just read was crazy

Dude exactly haha. That mf don haci guy gets recommended to me on twitter frequently, all he does when cs gets an update is talk about valorant lmao. Also whenever a valorant tourney is happening, he shits on it to talk about cs. So insecure

tbf it was more than "inspiration", they fucking riped-off the layout and several functionalities and the site still looks and feels like shit lmao

Kiklop [#41]I never seen anyone call simple fraud on vlr

bc there’s no basis to call s1mple a fraud lmao. he’s literally the goat of FPS games
zeldrols [#18]Some guy still talking about hiko being on a pro team lol. These hltv npcs just regurgitate information, play 2 games of unranked valorant don't follow the scene but trash it all the time.
yea honestly just let them do what they do. The skill level in CS doesnt correlate at all to valorant. Weve seen tier 1 CS players turn into nobodies or hell even rethink about moving over and go back to CS.
S1imple already struggles in ranked let alone pro play, the only good pro player i remember seeing a lot of valorant potential in was KennyS and thats because he turned an already overpowered gun into an even more powerful one.
But again that was in ranked
Subreezy [#5]i'd rather be a joke than be on hltv
it goes to show how bad being on HLTV is when we VLR users are the ones saying it
