"Hiko? He wasn't that bad during 2016ish"
"Yeah he was okay about 7 years ago. He was absolutely cooked in CSGO before Valorant saved his career"
Don't care if you thought hiko was good or bad, but this guy is referencing 2020
Pretty sure he's talking about how 2020 hiko got into a pro team.
Ivern, soraka mid. LS made lcs fun
Katowice was held during a pretty good day for LEC and also superbowl final. But val is pretty hype rn and it's going to be the only international tourney in months. So probably going to get more viewers.
In my opinion yes. But i think you need to understand the gane. Dont worry, its not complixlcatsd as dota
But Korean teams maybe the least fun, because they take calculated fights, rather than just fighting like any other region.
3 international events compared to 15 international t1 events. The 3 are going to get more viewers because it brings more hype. Not everyone will be willing to watch 15 grand finals in a year.
Cologne is a big t1 event. It's not going to be the most watched cs event, because it's t1 event with fans that are going to focus on playoffs in the arena. Better comparison is a major.
Bit unfair to compare cs 2018 and val 2022. Esports and live streaming has grown a lot since than. There's a much larger market and a larger audience now compared to 2018. That's why esport viewership in popular titles are growing each year. But val is in a healthy state rn.
Riot is tencent
Tencent is China
Yea. Pretty sure.
It completely related to prx's style. Yoru and neon could take aggressive peeks with fade getting early info. With breach and Astra being able to slow the pushes. Unfortunately, the anchors weren't good enough imo.
Lol. Ange1 deserves smthing. After the hellraiser cs team fell off.
They use their own earphones under the noise canceling head set. Don't think the crowd is loud enough. You would need the entire 3k-ish audience whistling etc, like what happens I cs.
Playing this aggressive is like a double edged sword. It either works or it doesn't. But you should respect them. They played really well all tourney
There's like 1-2k people there. Don't expect a lot
Pretty sure they have a additional mic in the arena which records fan noise. People who went to cologne complained about thr fan noise being to low on stream, during the latest cs event. I'm not sure about val, someone who went there needs to confirm it. :/
Sleep at airport or smthing lol. Obviously ticket isn't going to cost 2000 if ur in EU. But hotel, food, transport. They accumulate to 2k +
Superlight. No matter what game u play it's really good. Lot of LoL pros use it. A huge number of t1 cs pros use it. Val, it's also pretty popular.
Franchising kills esports but it secures longevity, money and sponsorships for riot ofc. But it really sucks for the teams that don't make it.
No clue why they picked Denmark. I would've expected NA since their playerbase is the biggest over there. Dumb choice by riot officials
Yea. I don't really like the random maps being picked. Yes, it spreads map playtime across. But personally I would like map ban, like in faceit. But that's imo.
It's Denmark. I think blast pointed this out, astralis is the second biggest sports team in Denmark. Shows how big cs is there. Vct would've been so much better in NA or asia
