Some examples (and this is just the start of it) of what a data specialist could bring:
- What is the optimal loadout in X situation?
- Optimal agents? Synergies?
- What are each players biggest weaknesses and strengths?
- When to properly retake or save?
- Which ults to prio?
- What are our teams biggest weaknesses?
- Which fights on each map are highest EV?
- When should we stack ults?
It seems very unlikely to even scratch these type of questions if you have to dedicate any sort of time to do playbook development.
