I think this has to do with Boom players, i heard that the players doesn’t want to play in SEA games since that will mess up with their synergy since the one that is picked for SEA games might not come wholly from Boom. Still a shitty move from PBESI tho because the reason is valid

edit: oh for answering the question is that the ministry might ban players from attending any valorant related event in the future, tho that is stupid because the event is being held by riot not the ministry. However it will be scary if the ministry banning riot sanctioned event in Indonesia in the future

it is unfortunate that the sea games is really close with ascension but i just dont understand why they are forcing the players to create a new team instead of doing a qualifier for already existing team which sounds better in all aspect

I remember last year they don't want to send AOV team to sea games 2021 just because they think there's no chance on winning anything lol. They even reject Garena who's trying to help.
the aov team ended up winning the silver medal
