you guys are reading way too much into this. they prolly just meant if talon or EG managed to be like a top 2-3 team this event, no one would have been expecting that. I'm talking about this specifically. I do see the bias against APAC teams generally speaking.

they dont at all and they havent, just braindead words being used by casters who are trying to set the narrative that talon have done this incredible feat where in reality theyve won 2 maps in a single elim format in a tourny that is mostly just to showcase rather than benchmark
As an Asian it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so fucking free.

Xerxia? They were good since they were X10. Managed to make it to playoffs and even beat peak Envy at 2021 champs.
